Tsum Valley (“Beyul Kyimolung”) is one of Nepal’s last truly hidden Himalayan gems. Opened to trekkers only in 2008, this sacred valley against the Tibet border is a living Tibetan Buddhist sanctuary. With spectacular views of Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal, and Boudha Himal ranges, zero teahouse crowds, and the powerful Mu Gompa (3,700 m) as the highlight, Tsum remains the most peaceful and spiritually rich trek near Manaslu.
