About Mount Everest Expedition

The Mt. Everest Expedition with Altitude Ascent Pvt. Ltd. is a fully supported 60-65 day journey to the world’s highest peak (8,848m) via the classic South Col route from Nepal. Starting in Kathmandu, you’ll trek through the stunning Khumbu Valley, passing vibrant Sherpa villages, suspension bridges, and monasteries like Tengboche, while gradually acclimatizing over 10 days to reach Everest Base Camp. Our experienced local Sherpa guides (2 highly experienced per climber) lead the way, prioritizing safety with glacier training, comprehensive base camp facilities (dining tents, hot showers, solar power), and no hidden costs.

Once at Base Camp, the expedition focuses on acclimatization rotations through the Khumbu Icefall to higher camps, followed by a weather-dependent summit push in mid-May using supplemental oxygen (7 bottles per climber with extras). We emphasize high safety and success rates through dedicated support, unlimited hot drinks, and emergency preparations. After the summit attempt, descend to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu. Priced from $60,000-$75,000 USD depending on group size, this complete package ensures a safe, successful, and memorable climb without compromises.

Yes, with proper fitness and preparation. We provide glacier and icefall training at Base Camp, strong Sherpa support (2 experienced guides per climber), and gradual acclimatization. Prior high-altitude experience (e.g., 6,000–7,000m peaks) is recommended but not mandatory.

Prices range from USD 60,000 (6–10 person group) to USD 75,000 (solo). Larger groups get better rates. There are no hidden costs—everything essential (permits, oxygen, meals, guides) is included. Prices may adjust if government permit fees increase.

Each climber receives 7 bottles (4-liter Poisk) with mask and regulator—sufficient even if used from Camp 2. We also carry extra bottles for safety and emergencies, plus one medical oxygen bottle at Base Camp.

We provide 2 highly experienced local Sherpa guides per climber, ensuring personalized support, safety, and higher summit success chances.

Standard return is trekking to Lukla and flying to Kathmandu (included). Optional or emergency helicopter flights (e.g., Base Camp to Lukla/Kathmandu) are available but paid by the climber.

Yes—medical evacuation and trip cancellation insurance are mandatory (not included). We recommend coverage up to 9,000m with helicopter rescue.

You provide your own climbing boots, crampons, harness, down suit, sleeping bag, and personal items. Rentals are available in Kathmandu—we help with checks on Day 2.

Very—tented setup includes dining/kitchen/toilet/shower tents, foam mattresses, unlimited hot drinks, weekly hot showers, solar charging, and dedicated cooks for fresh meals.

Absolutely. Many do. Solo climbers pay the higher rate but join or form small teams for safety and shared experience.
