Travel north from Kathmandu by private jeep. The drive winds through hills and riverside villages like Trishuli Bazaar until you reach the gateway of the Langtang region.

Cross the Bhote Koshi River and begin your trek. Follow the Langtang Khola through lush forests of oak and bamboo, steadily ascending to the quiet village of Rimche.

Continue climbing as the valley opens up. You will pass through Ghoda Tabela and see the first views of Langtang Lirung before reaching the resilient, rebuilt Langtang Village.

A shorter day of trekking through yak pastures. In the afternoon, hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,300m) for a stunning panoramic view of the glacial valley.

The most rewarding day of the trek. A steep climb leads you to the summit of Tserko Ri, offering 360-degree views of over 20 Himalayan peaks.

Begin the descent, enjoying the mountain views from a different perspective as you head back down toward the warmer, forested region.

Instead of going back to Syabrubesi, take the fork toward Thulo Syabru. This beautiful village is perched on a ridge and offers clear views of the Ganesh Himal.

A steep ascent through deep rhododendron and pine forests. You will gain significant altitude today, reaching the high ridge settlement of Cholangpati.

Trek past Laurebinayak to reach the sacred alpine lakes. After exploring the holy waters of Gosaikunda, descend back to Cholangpati for a warmer night.
