Tsum Valley Trek 11 Days from Kathmandu
Day 01: Drive Kathmandu → Soti Khola (710 m) – 8–9 hrs
Early departure on a scenic, winding mountain road along the Trishuli and Budhi Gandaki rivers. Pass Arughat and enter the restricted Manaslu-Tsum region.

Day 02: Soti Khola → Machha Khola → Jagat (1,340 m) – 6–7 hrs
Begin trekking through subtropical forests, waterfalls, and Gurung villages. Cross suspension bridges and climb to Jagat, official entry point for restricted area.

Day 03: Jagat → Chisapani → Lokpa (2,240 m) – 6–7 hrs – Enter Sacred Tsum Valley
Steady climb with Budhi Gandaki gorge views. At Lokpa, leave the Manaslu Circuit trail and officially enter the hidden “Beyul” Tsum Valley.

Day 04: Lokpa → Chumling (2,386 m) – 5 hrs – Lower Tsum Village
Gentle ascent into the beautiful lower Tsum Valley. Visit ancient Chumling monasteries and enjoy first panoramic views of Ganesh Himal and Shringi Himal.

Day 05: Chumling → Chhekampar (3,010 m) – 5–6 hrs – Optional Gumba Lungdang
Trek past mani walls and chortens. Option for side trip to Gumba Lungdang Nunnery (3,800 m) for spectacular sunset views (extra 3–4 hrs round trip).

Day 06: Chhekampar → Nile (3,361 m) – 5–6 hrs – Near Mu Gompa
High alpine scenery with yaks and prayer flags. The Nile is the last village before the Tibetan border – feel the deep spiritual energy of Tsum.

Day 07: Nile → Mu Gompa (3,700 m) → Rachen Gompa → Nile – Full Exploration Day
Morning climb to ancient Mu Gompa (400+ years old) at the head of the valley. Afternoon visit Rachen Gompa, one of the largest nunneries in Nepal. Optional short hike toward Tibet border.

Day 08: Nile → Chumling (2,386 m) – 7–8 hrs – Descent with New Perspectives

Day 09: Chumling → Lokpa → Philim (1,570 m) – 6–7 hrs
